How to download TikTok videos on iPhone and iPad

Use sssVtik in Safari to request an available file for a TikTok video you own or have permission to save. A downloaded video and a preview are different: the preview plays on the page, while a download creates a file on your device. You do not need a separate downloader app to use this website.

Copy the video link and open the tool

Open the individual post in TikTok, tap Share, and choose Copy link. Switch to Safari, open sssVtik, and paste the full link in the video field. If the paste button is blocked, touch and hold the field and use Paste. Confirm your permission, then request the download links. A private or unavailable post may not return a file.

Preview and save the available video

When the result appears, press Play to check that it is the correct clip. Choose the video download button and confirm any browser download prompt. Keep Safari open until the transfer finishes. If a link opens a media view, use the browser's available download or sharing option; the exact controls vary with your iOS version.

Find the file in Safari and Files

In Safari, open the download list near the address field. You can also open Files, tap Browse, and look in Downloads under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, depending on your Safari settings. If you changed the destination, check that folder. A saved webpage or bookmark is not a saved video.

Move a compatible video into Photos

Open the completed file in Files and use Share. If Save Video is available for that file, choose it to copy the clip to Photos. Check Photos afterwards. If that option is absent, the file may be incomplete or incompatible; keep it in Files and check whether it plays there. Renaming the extension does not convert a video.

If the download or preview fails

Check free storage and the browser's download status. Reopen an expired result by submitting the original TikTok link again in the same browser. If you arrived through an app's embedded browser, try Safari directly. Do not repeatedly retry a private or removed post. Audio files normally remain in Files and are not added to Photos as videos.
